The tiles were easy to install, and we are very happy with the results. Some of the edges of the tiles appear like they could start to fray, but this hasn't happened yet.

I used it in my living room, on top of an espresso stained wood floor and underneath a gray leather sectional. All family members are pleased with the outcome. It looks fantastic, assembled easily, and seems to hides tabby cat hair well. I highly recommend this rug.

Beware optical effects of this pattern. It was not visible on the small sample square, which only contained a section of the less textured portion of carpet. When the full-size squares arrived, the areas of larger texture created a very unpleasant optical effect on the eyes due to the high-contrast pattern of dark and light "spots" in a diagonal arrangement. I imagine this effect wouldn't be noticeable (or at least less noticeable) with the lower contrast color options, but on this particular color, it was unpleasant to look at from a variety of angles due to the optical blurring effect. We returned it (and had to pay for the shipping cost to return it).

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I'm considering using the rug tiles in a home office. How will the seem between two tiles hold up with a rolling desk chair moving across it. Will the dots be strong enough to secure the tiles with 9-5 movement?

Verified Reply - FLORAll of our tiles are considered to have a finished edge because the fibers are fused into the backing. If you decide to do additional treatments to our edging it will void our warranty.

The actual size of the rug we want to create is 78" x 60". 12 tiles comes to 84" x 60". Is there a solution? Thanks, Doug

Verified Reply - FLORThe closest we can get to your dimensions is 3 tiles (59.06") by 4 tiles (78.74") for a total of 12 tiles. Each tile is 19.7" x19.7".

Is the pattern of each tile in Ticket to Ride different from each other? Otherwise, how do you achieve the random pattern of the rug that is shown in the picture featuring the color Flint?

Verified Reply - FLORTicket to Ride is a random pattern and randomly selected. The stripes in this pattern will not line back up. You will receive tiles similar to those in the images online and in the catalog.

I think I am going to buy the ticket to ride tiles in mica, but ordering samples first to make sure. Separately, where did you get the coffee table in the image that showcases the mica tile? I love the angles on it.

Verified Reply - FLORAll imagery in the FLOR catalog was shot on location, often in private homes. Therefore, unfortunately, we do not have information about the furniture or accessories seen in the catalog or in our photographs as these pieces are part of the homeowner’s personal collection.

I'm wondering if flor tiles would work on my stairs. I don't see how to obtain special sizes or cuts. Please advise. Best Debra

Verified Reply - FLORWe currently do not offer a stair tread/riser option because, our flordots will not keep the tiles in place. Our tiles also do not bend so they can’t go over the nose of your stairs. If you do decide to do them on your stair treads we would recommend more of a permanent releasable adhesive. It would void the warranty if you decided to go ahead with this type of installation. We do not cut to your exact dimensions but we do have standard cuts. Our cuts are an additional $3.50 per tile. Otherwise, you can cut the tiles from the back with a straight edge and carpet knife. You can clean up the edges with scissors and change out blades as needed.
